Day 1

Its nearly 3pm and i'm still hungry. 

So far, this is what i've consumed today. 

I first had a cup of coffee at home, but didn't have breakfast. I normally have cereal with milk or a couple of peanut butter pandesals but didn't have any today. 

Then at the office, I had another cup of coffee as well as a fruit & nut trail mix. 



It didn't take too long before I got hungry so i order McDonald's delivery and had 2 chicken sandwiches...


I've since had a cigarette and am thinking of eating another fruit & nut trail mix.

Where Has The Time Gone?

It's been 5 years since i've posted anything here and in those 5 years, i'm not sure if i've exercised at all! One thing i know is, i've gained a shit ton of weight!

At one point i went vegan and maintained that for nearly a year. I lost weight, was able to put on my wedding ring again, and might have even exercised. But the lifestyle was generally the same.

Today, im inspired to start over and to try to get my health back. I'm going to a wedding on Friday and my pants barely fit me. I saw my stomach in the mirror last night and was embarrassed. My wife told me the other day that she wants to start running with me, we haven't yet, but today i downloaded Run Keeper on my phone again with the intention of getting back to it.

My lifestyle is altered in that i can't drink the way i used to anymore. What used to easily be 10 beers is now maybe half of that, if im in the mood! Not even that when im just having an early gig night.

So let's see if i can keep this up! Gonna try to start Day 1 again tomorrow!
