My wife had to leave the house early to get to work for a very early morning meeting so i was left to my own devices and had to sort shit out on my own. So, i started by making a cup of coffee and made myself a peanut butter sandwich. It's now wheat bread but it aint white bread either so all in all it wasn't crazy unhealthy. Plus peanuts are good for you so i didn't mind mixing that in.
For lunch at the office they served Pares! I don't normally eat Pares, not that i don't like it but i reckon i simply don't come across it all that much. I mixed it in with some brown rice for added health!
I got hungry at some point in the afternoon so i sliced myself an apple. Note: Apples taste better cold :)
And for dinner my wife and i went out on a pre-eclipse date and had dinner at Borough at The Podium. We walked around the whole mall, it didn't take long since it was a small mall, and had a look at all the restaurants that are there. A few caught our attention, Casa Armas, Shi Lin, Cafe Breton, and one more burger joint. But we settled on eating at Borough since it had been reviewed by friends of ours that quite liked it. This was the plate i ordered, chicken with a waffle!
My wife also let me have a taste of her pulled pork sandwich which i must say tasted waaay better than my chicken and waffle! Im going to order that next time we go there :)
I ate my waffle as a dessert.
Note: I did not use all the syrup in an effort to have less chocolate. The waffle was also made out of pumpkin so i don't think its the worse of the worse :)
After dinner we headed back home to chill.
I had some power and when my wife fell asleep while waiting for the eclipse i decided to exercise. I can't remember everything i did especially since i was quite powered up plus i didn't write it down, but i did these and a few more things i reckon :)
Jumping jacks with dumbbells - 3 minutes

Bicycle crunches
Double crunches
Let raises
Plank
Side Plank
Side Plank with arms and legs in the air
Tricep dips
Push ups
bicep curls
Plana forma dumbbell exercises
Yoga poses
Qigong breathing
I might have done more but i can no longer remember. In any case, it was a great workout and i sweat my balls off! My cats were bothering me while i was trying to get these exercises done but they were cute and i wasn't bothered.
At some point after i took a good shower and waited for the eclipse to begin. When it did, i woke my wife up and we watched it til the moon was red and covered in the earths shadow. When it was over we went to bed and exercised together before passing out. Needless to say, we both slept very well and both woke up in a great mood! More date nights please!
