Once we got there, things started to move quite quickly and i remember thinking that this is cool, the LTO got their shit together. The emission test was done, we got the insurance sorted, and the rest was done. Then we were sent to another building to complete the registration process. At this point i was thinking that this could not take much longer...boy was i wrong!!!
A paper was submitted and we were asked to wait. While waiting i observed our surroundings and noticed a few things. One of them were signs on the wall of the LTO Mission and Vision Statements. Here they are:
Where is the order on the roads?
Quality Drivers? I don't think so...
Roadworthy? Isn't there way too much smoke?
Hahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!!
But then something else caught my attention!
Umm, Mr. Alberto Suansing, there are fixers outside your building!!! Hello open your eyes!!!
Anyway, after being disappointed yet again by our government and their offices, i noticed a peculiar guy in line in front of us. He was holding a pen (just like all fixers do), as well as more than 1 set of registration papers, and quite a lot of cash! I took pics of him too...here are the papers...
Here's his face...
Him telling the guy behind the counter he was registering 2 vehicles...
The money and the guy behind the counter who is clearly dealing with a "Fixer"
And claiming the paperwork for the 2 vehicles...
My question is, how does one report a fixer? I mean, there are signs that clearly state that no one is supposed to deal with a fixer and that if caught, they could be fined up to 2 years in Jail and up to P200,000. I would love to report these guys man! They tie up the line with their multiple registrations and more importantly, because it says they are illegal. If it weren't illegal, fine, fucking do it. But don't claim it's wrong and let it happen in front of anyone and everyone!
Anyway, we got our car registered, thank God that's over. Now off to work!
